The Simplicity of it all

I did some research on composition, and looked at a website link that dealt with nature photography. I found a little list of things to keep in mind when dealing with composition. The author said that the most important thing to keep in mind when dealing with composition is "simplicity". The author said to use a subtractive approach, instead of an additive approach. This will keep beautiful shots from being cluttered and over bearing.

Here is the Link for more information.

  1. Oops - the link didn't work for me. But it's definitely an interesting concept. I agree that "less is more" (and vice versa!) is often the case in pictures, and some pictures are so great because they take a simple subject and make it seem extraordinary. Photography can sometimes find the beauty that the naked eye cannot.
